Playa del Carmen & Tulum
My first trip to Mexico and the first stop is Playa del Carmen. I was able to spend and discover 3 months of Mexican culture, food, people, parties, learning Spanish language and much more. I landed at the airport of Cancun, and after that, I went straight with an excitement of my trip to a small town Playa del Carmen. Where many restaurants, souvenirs for tourists, bars and amazing colour blue beaches. I have found that Playa del Carmen is a very comfortable and safe place to live for a foreigner like me. The weather is always sunny and most of the time is +30 degrees or more, and sometimes beautiful, refreshing rainy days. Playa del Carmen is a vivid town, that is full of foreigners with restaurants, bars and nightclubs at every convenience. As well, Tulum 30 minutes away from Playa del Carmen, nowadays the trendiest beach place for foreigners available for anyone from luxury to low priced restaurants, beach lounges or a stay overnight to the amazing view of the beach. This tropical village offers not only a beach and sandy getaway, but as well a historical Mayan Ruins for those of history lovers. However, I was amazed and hypnotized by the beauty and warmth of the beach where I have spent my most of the day enjoying the white colour sand and the sea at Papaya Playa beach club with a delicious Mexican drink “Ojo Rojo” of some particular red mix and beer, or a coconut for being more tropical, which refreshes you from a hot sun. As well, Papaya Playa has offered a very delicious ceviche, guacamole or tacos. The fresh seafood and avocado make the food taste even better than in Europe.
